Powers Gold Label Irish Whiskey (70cl, 43.2%)

Powers Gold Label is a blended Irish whiskey made from pot still and grain whiskeys, triple distilled and matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks. It is bottled at 43.2% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill filtered. The spirit is cut from the heart of the distillate, which is why Distiller's Cut appears on the label. More of the heads and tails are discarded than for any other Irish whiskey. The brand dates back to 1791, when James Power founded a distillery at his public house in Dublin. Powers was the first Dublin distillery to bottle its own whiskey, under a gold label.
