This Premier Barrel release from Douglas Laing is a single cask Dailuaine, a Speyside single malt aged for 8 years in sherry wood and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
It is bottled without chill filtration or added colouring. Each bottle is individually numbered and presented in a decorative ceramic decanter.
The nose is rich sherry sweetness with raisins, dark chocolate and roasted nuts. On the palate are treacle, stewed plums and spice, with toffee and malt biscuit. The finish is long, warm and sweet, with dried fruit and oak spice.
