Preservation Distillery – Old Man Winter Cask Strength Bourbon (75cl, 54.9%)

Old Man Winter Cask Strength is a micro-batch, four-grain bourbon blended and bottled by Preservation Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky. It marries nearly nine-year-old Indiana bourbon with six-year-old Kentucky pot-still wheated bourbon. Each batch is made from only one to three barrels and bottled at natural cask strength, 54.9% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. The whisky is between six and nine years old. The nose offers honeydew, white grape, grapefruit and rye spice. The palate is rich and fruit-forward with white pepper and subtle oak, and the finish is long, with citrus and warming spice.
