Outlaw Kentucky Bourbon from Preservation Distillery is a three-barrel microbatch of wheated bourbon, distilled and aged in Bardstown, Kentucky. It joins the distillery's oldest wheated bourbon casks dumped to date with a nearly nine-year-old vintage bourbon, and the whiskey spans 7 years 6 months to 8 years 6 months in age. The pot distilled bourbon has a high ester content, which brings tropical fruit, sweetness and depth, and the whiskey is rich and viscous. Strength is 108-111 proof (54-55.5%). It belongs to the Outlaw series, in which each microbatch is unique.
