Proper No. Twelve is a triple-distilled blended Irish whiskey created by Conor McGregor and made with the Bushmills team. It takes its name from Crumlin, Dublin 12, his home postal district, and was launched in September 2018.
The blend of grain whiskey and single malt spent four years in bourbon barrels and is bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is light, with vanilla, honey, fresh fruit and a gentle cereal sweetness. On the palate come golden vanilla, ripe peach, light toasted oak and a touch of honey, followed by a clean, short finish with lingering vanilla sweetness.
