Providence Dunder & Syrup Rum (70cl)

A rum from Providence, recalling old Caribbean island traditions. It is made from a careful selection of molasses, fermented with typical yeasts, and matured slowly in selected wooden barrels. The warm, humid climate of origin supports this maturation, which gives sweet notes of vanilla, caramel and a light spice hint. The nose shows intense ripe fruit, molasses and a touch of toasted oak, while the palate is satisfying and soft, with a long, enveloping finish. It can be enjoyed neat or as a base for refined cocktails, and pairs with dark chocolate desserts or caramelised walnut tart.
