Puncher's Chance The Unified Belt is a blended whiskey bringing together American bourbon and Irish whiskey. It was released in December 2023 as the fifth expression from the brand, in a limited edition. Three components go into it: a 4-year-old high-rye Kentucky straight bourbon, a 4-year-old Irish whiskey made from malted barley and aged in ex-bourbon barrels, and a 14-year-old bourbon finished for up to 15 months in first-fill Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks. Steven Hughes blended it for Wolf Spirit of Eugene, Oregon. The tasting notes describe dark fruit, orchard fruit and cocoa with warm oak and baking spice, and a long finish with hints of vanilla and baked green apple.
