Pure Kentucky XO is a small batch straight bourbon from Kentucky, produced by Willett and bottled at 53.5% ABV, close to cask strength, in a 70cl bottle. It matured for a long time in new, charred oak barrels and has no added colouring.
It shows vanilla, caramel, dark sugar and spice, with a clear presence of oak. The palate is full-bodied and complex, and the finish is warm.
