Pure Sardinia Vermouth di Sardegna Vero (75cl)

Vermouth di Sardegna Vero is an aromatised wine from Pure Sardinia, built around the herbs of the island's Mediterranean scrub. It starts from Nuragus DOC wine from Cagliari, in which Sardinian wild herbs such as helichrysum, myrtle, mastic, thyme and wormwood are infused for about thirty days. Alcohol and sugar are added towards the end of the infusion. Amber-yellow in colour, it smells of honey and herbs, with dried fruit and light tertiary hints. The palate is clean and vigorous, coating the mouth, with a slightly abboccato finish. It suits serving chilled as an aperitif, or after dinner with dark chocolate desserts or dry pastries.
