Pure Scot Midnight Peat is a blended Scotch whisky made at the Bladnoch distillery in the Scottish Lowlands. Master Distiller Nick Savage created it in collaboration with Australian cocktail bartenders. It is bottled at 44.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is matured in ex-peated whisky casks, which give it a smoky finish. Charred oak and spice lead the nose and palate, with dried fruit, dark chocolate and toasted vanilla. A touch of sweetness balances the earthy peat.
