Pure Scot Virgin Oak (43%)

Pure Scot Virgin Oak is a blended Scotch whisky made by master distiller Ian Macmillan and finished in virgin American oak casks. It is bottled at 43%. The blend is built on Bladnoch single malt aged for at least eight years, together with rare and aged malts from Islay, the Highlands and Speyside. The colour is copper gold. The nose offers sweet oak, barley sugar, nutmeg, citrus, green apple, pencil shavings and a whiff of sweet smoke. Honey and barley sugar lead the palate, with gingerbread spice and orange, and the finish is soft, lightly spicy and long, with sweet oak and honey.
