Purkhart Blume Marillen Apricot Eau de Vie (75cl, 40%)

Blume Marillen is the signature apricot eau-de-vie of Destillerie Purkhart, a family distillery in Steyr, Upper Austria. It is an unaged apricot brandy at 40% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. It is distilled only from Klosterneuberger apricots grown in the Wachau, with no added sugar. More than nine pounds of fruit go into each bottle. The name means blossom of the apricot, and the line has been made by the Purkhart family for over forty years. The nose is delicately floral, with ripe apricot fruit and shades of spice, earth and liquorice. The finish is long and elegant.
