Pursuit United Double Oaked is a straight bourbon from Pursuit Spirits, made in Louisville, Kentucky. It is a blend of straight bourbons, including low rye and wheated mash bills.
The whiskey is aged once and then moved into a second custom oak barrel for further maturation. It is bottled at 54% ABV, non-chill filtered, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is brown sugar, toasted coconut and rich oak. On the palate are toffee, cocoa powder, vanilla bean and leather. The finish is long and warming, with spice, smoky oak and lingering sweetness.
