Pursuit United Double Oaked Rye is a rye whisky in a 70cl bottle, built on the same base as the Pursuit United Rye.
For its secondary maturation it uses French oak staves that were lightly toasted and heavily charred. The result is a rich mahogany colour and a full-bodied oak character.
The nose is fresh-baked cherry pie, with cranberry and spices of cardamom and nutmeg. The palate brings buttered brown sugar crumble, tart fresh cherries and a berry jam richness. The finish has cherry pipe tobacco and hints of charred oak, with a gentle, lingering warmth.
