Pusser's 15 Year Old British Navy Rum is a classic British Navy style rum, named after the naval tradition of a daily rum ration distributed by the Purser, or Pusser.
The name recalls the old proof test, in which a pinch of gunpowder was wetted with rum and lit; if it ignited, the rum was considered strong enough. It was distilled after 1991 and bottled after 2006.
