R. Jelinek 7 Year Old Gold Slivovitz is a triple-distilled plum brandy from Rudolf Jelinek of Vizovice in the Czech Republic. It is made from matured plums from the distillery's own orchards and bottled at 40%.
The spirit is aged for seven years in French oak, a Special Reserve in the gold style, which gives it a bright gold colour and a well-balanced taste.
The nose carries ripe plum and soft oak. The palate is smooth, with plum fruit, gentle wood, vanilla and a faint nutty warmth, and the finish is long and rounded.
