Boxergrail is a Kentucky straight rye from Rabbit Hole, made as a sour mash from 95% rye and 5% malted barley. This version comes in a 200ml bottle at 47.5% ABV.
The producer suggests it neat, over a cube of ice, or in an Old Fashioned.
The nose combines baking spice and brown sugar with a herbaceous edge. On the palate there is citrus, butterscotch and bright floral notes, with dill, and the finish carries black tea.
