Rabbit Hole Dareringer is a straight bourbon bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The wheated mash bill is 68% corn, 18% wheat and 14% malted barley. It is aged in alligator-char American oak, then finished in hand-made Pedro Ximenez sherry casks from Casknolia Cooperage in Spain. It is blended from no more than 15 barrels and is non-chill-filtered.
Dareringer was inspired by Heather Zamanian, wife of Rabbit Hole founder Kaveh Zamanian.
The nose is sherry and cherry with traces of caramel. The palate has raisins, currants and cherries with hints of almond and vanilla, and the finish is light with a touch of dryness.
