This is a 12 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from Rabbit Hole, part of its Founder's Collection.
After its initial maturation the bourbon was finished in new Amburana barrels, a Brazilian oak, which give it a golden amber colour and a strong character of their own.
The palate is described as ginger snaps, stone fruit, cinnamon, mint, caramelised sugar and wine. The finish brings a leathery, earthy hint of nutmeg, baking spice and tobacco leaf.
