Rabbit Hole Founder's Collection Mizunara 15 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at cask strength. Founder and whiskey maker Kaveh Zamanian chose a handful of 15-year-old barrels from his own collection and finished them in casks made from Japanese Mizunara oak.
The result is a double-oaked bourbon, and each bottle is individually numbered.
The nose brings nutmeg, allspice, walnut and leather, with mint, honey and orange. The palate is a mix of earthy and confectionery flavours, with tobacco, oak, custard, banana and cinnamon. The finish runs to dark cherry and lingering chocolate.
