Rabbit Hole Mizunara Founder's Collection is a 15-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon, the second release in the series, from 2024. Founder Kaveh Zamanian selected the barrels from his personal stock.
The bourbon spent 15 years in new charred American oak, then more than 11 months in virgin Japanese Mizunara oak casks made by the Ariake Sangyo cooperage. It is bottled at cask strength, 51.9% ABV, unfiltered, in a 750ml bottle. Each bottle is individually numbered and comes in a gift box with a gold cork.
The nose offers nutmeg, allspice, walnut, leather, mint, honey and orange. The palate is earthy and confectionery, with tobacco, oak, custard, banana and cinnamon, turning floral before dark cherry. The finish is long and chocolatey.
