Raer Inaugural is the first Scotch whisky release from Jackton Distillery in the Scottish Lowlands. It is a single malt in a 75cl bottle at 48.7% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration. There were 6,000 individually numbered bottles.
The whisky brings together four cask types: Bourbon, Pedro Ximénez, Amontillado and Oloroso.
It is described as full-bodied, with fruitcake, fig and sultana alongside darker treacle and roasted nuts, then toffee, subtle spice and gentle oak.
