Raíz Oaxaca Mezcal Espadín & Tobalá (75cl, 45.7%)

Raíz Oaxaca Espadín & Tobalá is a mezcal from the community of San Dionisio Ocotepec in Oaxaca, Mexico, bottled at 45.7% vol. It is a Type I mezcal, made from 100% agave. The agaves are Espadín and Tobalá, matured for 8 and 12 years respectively before use, and the mezcal is distilled twice. Production is entirely by hand, following the traditional techniques of the region's maestros mezcaleros, and it is made in small batches from wild agaves.
