Ramos Pinto 10 Year Old Tawny is a Port from the Douro, in a 75cl bottle. The house was founded in 1880 and is known for its work in viticulture and its knowledge of terroir.
The colour is orange-red with a touch of green. Orange, apricot and plum show on the nose, alongside vanilla and the woody notes of old Port casks.
On the palate it is smooth and full-bodied, with fresh fruit set within the wood ageing and a good balance between fruit and alcohol. The finish carries a slightly acidic, woody note.
