Rare Character Black Maple Hill 2026 Small Batch Bourbon (70cl, 47.5%)

This is a limited-release Kentucky straight bourbon, the 2026 Small Batch from Rare Character. It revives the Black Maple Hill name and is bottled at 95 proof (47.5% ABV) in a 700ml bottle. It is meant for sipping, whether neat, over a large cube or in an Old Fashioned. The nose is vanilla, caramel and toasted oak with a subtle sweetness. The palate is smooth caramel and vanilla balanced by toasted oak and gentle baking spice. The finish is medium in length and warm, with lingering vanilla, oak and spice.
