Rare Character RCLR Batch 6 is a Kentucky straight whiskey, the 2025 limited release of the RCLR series, in a 75cl bottle. It is labelled as Kentucky straight whiskey rather than bourbon, and it is a small batch release.
The nose brings brown sugar, toasted oak and caramel, with vanilla, black pepper, dried cherry, clove and citrus zest. On the palate come maple syrup, caramelised sugar, dark fruit, roasted nuts, oak char and leather, with baking spice and some warming heat. The finish is long, with oak spice, caramel sweetness and firm tannins.
