Rare Hare 15 Years Old is an American whiskey from Rare Hare Spirits, part of its Prestige Collection, bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof). It spent 15 years in used bourbon barrels and was then finished using the boise method, with toasted French oak staves from Tonnellerie Radoux, a technique inspired by French winemaking. The nose is described as gentle oak with crème de cacao. On the palate come chocolate malt, ripe stone fruit and roasted nuts, and the finish is spiced with clove and ginger that linger gently.
