Rare Hare Lucky Bastard is a Canadian whisky matured for thirty years and bottled at 44.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from selected Canadian grains and finished in Pineau des Charentes casks from western France.
The nose offers vanilla bean, golden raisin, honeycomb and delicate floral notes. On the palate come browned butter, toasted sugar, coconut, anise and a little spice. The finish carries banana peel, a soft rhum-like sweetness and ripe plantain.
