Rare Perfection 14 Year Old Canadian Whisky (75cl, 50.4%)

This is a 14 year old Canadian whisky bottled at 50.35% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It comes from the Rare Perfection series of found barrels, and was distilled from a four-grain, bourbon-style mash of corn, wheat, rye and malted barley. The whisky was aged for 14 years in cold storage in Canada, then bottled by Preservation Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky. The nose is described as honeysuckle, orange blossom and roasted tree nuts, with candied pecan, chocolate-covered walnuts and hard toffee behind them. The palate is soft, with wood spice in support.
