Rare Perfection 15 Year Old Canadian Whisky (75cl, 59.9%)

Rare Perfection 15 Year Old is a Canadian whisky in a 750ml bottle, bottled at cask strength and non-chill filtered at 59.85% ABV. It is distilled from a four-grain, bourbon-style mash of corn, wheat, rye and malted barley. The whisky spent 15 years in new charred oak in a cold Canadian warehouse. It is bottled by Preservation Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, so it has two homes: Canada in the making and Kentucky in the bottling. Tasting notes describe strawberry cream, candied orange, green tea and baking spice on the nose. The palate offers pear, creme brulee, dark chocolate, light espresso and toasted oak, and the finish is long, with vanilla, oak and mild warmth.
