A 10 year old single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Rare Perfection, selected as a private barrel for Sip Whiskey. It was distilled in 2016 and bottled unfiltered at cask strength, 131.2 proof (65.6%), in a 750ml bottle.
The whiskey matured in Kentucky for the full ten years and comes from one barrel, bottled without dilution.
The nose brings burnt brown butter, crème brûlée, brown sugar, charred oak and cinnamon. The palate is rich with caramel, spiced raisin, brown sugar crumble and baking spice. The finish is long and warming, with rye-like spice, charred oak and light leather.
