Rebel 6 Year Old is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV). It is distilled in Bardstown, Kentucky, and produced under Lux Row Distillers. The mash bill is mainly corn, wheat and malted barley, with wheat taking the place of rye. The bourbon matured for six years in new charred American oak barrels. The nose is vanilla, caramel and sweet cornbread, with citrus zest and dark fruit. The palate brings wheat sweetness, butterscotch, baking spice and brown sugar, and the finish is medium to long with vanilla, spice and a touch of citrus peel.
