Red Spot 15 Year Old is a single pot still Irish whiskey from the Spot range, originally made for Mitchell & Son, the Dublin wine and spirits merchant established in 1805. Today it is produced with Midleton Distillery in County Cork.
It matures in ex-bourbon, sherry (often Oloroso) and Malaga casks and is bottled at 46% ABV without chill-filtration. Orchard fruit, dark chocolate and gentle oak spice come across the palate.
