A 15 year old single pot still Irish whiskey, bottled at 46% in a 75cl bottle.
It has matured in a combination of American bourbon casks, Spanish sherry butts and Sicilian Marsala wine casks.
The nose combines pot still spices with cooked fruit, baked apple, mango and black cherry, plus hazelnut and a touch of new leather alongside toasted American oak. On the palate there is ripe fruit sweetness from the Marsala casks, then sweet red pepper and cracked black pepper, ending on American oak and barley. The finish is long, with fruit and spice.
