Redbreast 12 Year Old Cask Strength is an Irish single pot still whiskey from Midleton, bottled in 2024 at 57.5% ABV. It is made from a mix of malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills.
The whiskey matured in a combination of bourbon-seasoned American oak casks and Oloroso sherry-seasoned Spanish oak butts, which gives the Redbreast sherry style. This cask strength version shows the natural, full-bodied character of the 12 year old. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
