Redbreast 12 Year Old Cask Strength is a single pot still Irish whiskey produced at Midleton Distillery and bottled at 57.6% ABV.
It was matured for 12 years in a combination of bourbon-seasoned American oak barrels and Oloroso sherry-seasoned Spanish oak butts.
On the nose there are Fuji apple, plum, orange blossom, honeysuckle and toasted almond. The palate brings vanilla, baked cherries and honey with fruit, spice and subtle oak, and the long finish ends on toasted oak and barley.
