Redbreast 12 Year Old Cask Strength is an Irish single pot still whiskey, matured in sherry casks and sold in a 70cl bottle. It can take a drop or two of water, or be left to open in the glass.
The nose has dark sherry fruit, damson jam, milk chocolate, cloves and candied citrus peel. On the palate there is rich fruit cake, vanilla ice cream, sultana, toasted oak, peppercorn and gingerbread.
