Redbreast 12 Year Old is an Irish single pot still whiskey, matured in a mix of bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose brings dried fruit, toasted oak and warm baking spices, with sherry notes and a little smoke. On the palate there is creamy vanilla, ripe orchard fruit and roasted nuts, alongside a touch of sherry sweetness, butterscotch and toffee. The finish is silky and lingering, warm and dry.
