Redbreast 12 Year Old is an Irish single pot still whiskey, made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills.
It is matured in a combination of Bourbon-seasoned American oak barrels and Oloroso sherry-seasoned Spanish oak butts, which gives the Redbreast sherry style.
The nose is spicy and fruity with toasted wood. The palate is full flavoured and silky, balancing spice, fruit, sherry and toasted notes. The finish is long, the flavours lingering on the palate.
