Redbreast 12 Year Old is an Irish single pot still whiskey, made from a mix of malted and unmalted barley and distilled at a single distillery. It is matured in oloroso sherry casks, which shape its deep, balanced character. The nose is expressive, with red fruits and gentle spice such as pink peppercorn. On the palate come blackcurrant, ripe fruit and praline, reminiscent of Christmas cake. The finish is long, with candied fruit and ripe pear.
