Redbreast 15 Year Old is a single pot still Irish whiskey from the Midleton distillery. It was matured in former Oloroso sherry casks, is non-chill-filtered and is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
In 2015 Redbreast won the title of best Pot Still Whisky at the World Whiskies Awards.
The nose combines oak spices, cherry, chocolate and raisins, followed by vanilla, caramel and a little cardamom. The palate offers vanilla, milk chocolate and oak, finishing with warming spices and toasted wood.
