Redbreast 15 Year Old is a single pot still Irish whiskey at 46% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. It is made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley, triple distilled in copper pot stills, and every whiskey in it has spent at least 15 years in oak casks. A balance of first fill and refill casks brings out its spice.
The nose is full and rich, with berry fruits and aromatic oils. The palate is round and mellow, with fleshy fruit, spices and toasted wood, and the texture is oily. The finish is long.
