Redbreast 15 Year Old is an Irish single pot still whiskey, bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle and non-chill filtered.
It is matured in a balance of first fill and refill casks, which brings out the spices in the full, complex Redbreast character, with additional maturation adding to it.
The nose is full and rich, with berry fruits, aromatic oils, orange blossom, thyme, cedar and cherry. The palate is round and mellow, with fleshy fruit, spice and toasted wood, alongside brown sugar, baked apricot, orange and vanilla. The finish is long, with blossom perfume and vanilla.
