This is an 18-year-old single pot still Irish whiskey from Redbreast, in a 750ml bottle. It is triple distilled.
The whiskey is matured in a combination of seasoned American oak bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks.
In the glass it is a deep golden amber. The nose brings dried fruit, toasted oak, dark chocolate, hazelnut and warm spice. The palate is rich, with fig, raisin, honey, almond, cinnamon and gentle oak, and the finish is long and warming with lingering spice, fruit and subtle sweetness.
