Redbreast 21 Year Old is a single pot still Irish whiskey from Midleton, matured for more than two decades in oak. It was bottled on 4 July 2022 at 46% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour.
The maturation took place in bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose brings tropical fruit, nuts and dried fruit, with soft vanilla, toasted oak and a sherried nuttiness lifted by a little spice. The palate is rich and fleshy with fruit, and the long finish carries oak and spice before ending on barley.
