Redbreast 27 Year Old is an Irish whiskey matured in Ruby Port casks.
The nose combines exotic fruits and red berries with fresh herbs and wood spices, alongside vanilla sweetness, treacle toffee and the nuttiness of toasted oak. The palate is very rich in texture, with ripe stone fruit and summer berries, a prickle of chilli oil, cherry menthol, vanilla, cinnamon, red pepper and nutmeg.
The finish is long, balancing ripe fruit and wood spices.
