Redbreast Moscatel Cask Edition is a single pot still Irish whiskey from Midleton Distillery in County Cork, made from malted and unmalted barley and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is a limited release blending whiskeys aged between 9 and 11 years. They matured first in ex-bourbon and sherry casks, then spent 16 months finishing in European oak seasoned with Moscatel from Málaga, Spain.
Expect vibrant citrus, honeyed stone fruit and floral sweetness, with gentle spice, soft oak and a silky mouthfeel.
