Redbreast Moscatel Wine Cask Edition is a single pot still Irish whiskey from the Iberian Series, produced by Irish Distillers. It is triple distilled, matured in oak casks and then finished in Moscatel wine casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings fresh citrus, sweet fruit, nutmeg and a soft floral wine influence. On the palate it is rich and textured, with toffee, honeycomb, pot still spice, ripe fruit and layered oak. The finish is long and warming, with lingering spice, sweetness and wine-seasoned oak.
