Redemption Cognac Cask Finish

This is a limited-edition American whiskey from Redemption, made by finishing the brand's High Rye Bourbon in Cognac casks. It draws on a pre-Prohibition idea of a rye-forward whiskey, and the Cognac casks add a French element to that style. The Master Blender, Dave Carpenter, was responsible for the finish. It is described as elegant and bold in flavour, balanced by a warming sweetness and ending on Redemption's characteristic rye-forward finish.
