This is a straight bourbon from Indiana, finished in cognac casks, in a 75cl bottle at 49.5% ABV.
The mash bill is corn, rye and malted barley. The cognac finish adds dried fruit and delicate floral notes to the caramel, vanilla and oak of the bourbon itself.
The nose is typically described as ripe fruit, caramelised sugar and a touch of spice. On the palate come caramel, honey and dark fruit, balanced between sweetness and warmth. The finish is long, with oak and soft cognac notes.
